Miranda Hoffman has been designing for theater and opera in New York on and off Broadway, regionally, and internationally for over ten years. Her work has been seen at The Public Theater, Centerstage, American Repertory Theatre, The Shakespeare Theatre, and the Glimmerglass Opera Festival, among others. She collaborates with both veteran and emerging directors including: Joanne Akalaitis, Michael Greif, Nicolas Martin, Sam Helfrich, and Rebecca Taichman. She is the recipient of the NEA/TCG Career Development Grant and has received Helen Hayes and Henry Hewes Theatre Wing nominations for her work. She is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama.

Not only concerned with the costume or visual aspects of a production, she strives to be an essential contributor to the creation of a cohesive theatrical world.
